Glacial Waters Spa

When the early Ojibwe and Sioux Indians inhabited the area, they believed the lake waters to have medicinal properties. Today we know the glaciers carried rocks rich in minerals like iron, sulfur and other trace elements. Transferred to the glacial waters, these same minerals have restorative and healing properties for the skin.

Cancellation Policy

Glacial Waters spa requires a 24 hour notice to cancel any spa appointments. If you cancel your service after the 24 hour notice you will be charged 50% of the total service. If you cancel within 6 hours or fail to show for your appointment you will be charged the full amount of the service.

Arrive Early

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your first appointment in order to change into your robe, complete paperwork, and relax before services. Massage and Body Treatment guests shower prior to services, please allow enough time. If you would like to steam or sauna, plan to arrive an hour before your first scheduled appointment.

Spa Lounge

What to Wear

Unless you are leaving from the spa to go out for the evening, wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes. Lockers, plush robes, sandals, towels, amenities and hair dryers are provided.

Disrobing

Please disrobe to your comfort level. Traditionally, most spa services are done wearing no clothing. All of our service providers are highly trained professionals who will cover and drape you to ensure your privacy.

Pregnancy

Please inform the front desk and your service providers if you are pregnant so we can customize your service for you and your baby.

Food & Drink

We provide beverages and a healthy spa snack in the relaxation lounge.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the service fee. If you have had a wonderful experience, feel free to leave gratuities for your service providers. If you are not sure how much to tip, our front desk staff will be happy to advise you.

Medical Conditions

Upon arrival at the spa, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire. Please note any medical conditions on this form. Your service provider will review the form with you, prior to your service, to determine appropriate service modifications.

Age Restrictions

We encourage our young guest to receive spa services; we just ask that a parent or guardian sign a release for guests under the age of 18. An adult must accompany our guests under the age of 16 for the entire time of their stay at the spa.

Gender Preference

Please inform us if you have a gender preference for your therapist. Please note that this might limit the availability of your service.
