2nd Annual Summer Concert Series: Eagles, Beatles, Springsteen and Seger
Food, beer, wine, live music, the outdoors and Grand View Lodge – what could be a better combo?
Join us this summer for the second annual Grand View Summer Concert Series sponsored by Hubbard Broadcasting and Tito’s Vodka. The Summer Concert Series features three great shows on Thursday evenings from 6 to 10 p.m. on the driving range at the Pines Golf Course. The 2017 lineup is announced! This year enjoy live music tributes featuring the Eagles, the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, and Bob Seger.
Get there before the show starts to reserve the best seat. We do recommend bringing your lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. We will be serving street tacos, beer, wine, and water. Be sure to bring cash so you can take advantage of these delicious goodies.

Thursday, June 29 live on the stage will be “Taking’ It To The Limit: An Eagles Tribute” by The Fabulous Armadillos and Collective Unconscious. The Fabulous Armadillos originated in central Minnesota and perform songs from many genres of music. They have played over 44 themed concerts. The band has a diverse group of musicians who are sure to entertain. Jam out to songs like “Hotel California,” “Take It Easy,” and “Lyin’ Eyes.” Close your eyes and listen and it will feel like you’re listening to Joe Walsh, Don Felder and the whole Eagles band themselves. Opening for them is Ashes for April performing 70’s & 80’s acoustic classics with their folksy and acoustic style.

Thursday, July 20, Rubber Soul takes the stage to entertain us with one of the most revolutionary bands of all time, the Beatles. Rubber Soul is a Beatles Tribute band that takes you on tour through time. Starting from the British Invasion to Sgt. Peppers and Abby Road. The fab four performs with costume replicating the look of John, Paul, George, and Ringo. Rock, roll, and sing along to many of the classics. The opening band will be Kinda Kinky, a Kinks tribute out of Minneapolis.

Lastly, Thursday, August 3, Mick Sterling performs his Springsteen/Seger Tribute. With no opening band, Mick and his band will wow us with a big show. With 37 years of passion for people and music, Sterling is sure to get you “Dancing in the Dark.” Performing his tribute to Bob Seger, Sterling plays with instruments including guitar and even the smooth jazzy sounds of a saxophone. Springsteen and Seger have written many hit records some including songs like “Born to Run,” “Born in the U.S.A.”, “Against the Wind,” and “Old Time Rock ‘n Roll.”
