North Hotel: A new way to experience luxury at Grand View Lodge

Set to open early July 2019, the hotel is located on the resort’s main property and nearby the hub of activities. The hotel will feature 20 two-queen rooms, 40 one-king rooms, and four handicap accessible rooms. In addition to the chic guest rooms, the hotel will feature an expansive lobby with grand fireplace as the centerpiece, a lobby lounge, and bar called Brew, and the exclusive check-in desk for the hotel.
In North’s main lobby area, an 18-hour bar named Brew will serve up coffee, beer, and wine. Guests can enjoy espresso in the morning and after a full day of hard work or play – a glass of rosé or craft beer. Lite bites will also be offered. Sure, the resort has other dining venues, but having Brew will make one’s stay that much more convenient.
Guests staying at North will be able to unload their luggage, park, and check-in all at one location. The reception area is anchored by an oversized dark red oak shelving unit, which exudes an elegant ambiance and is staffed by Grand View’s helpful guest service attendants.
A variety of casual seating areas are available for guests to stop and enjoy this central gathering place and lobby area. From luxury sectionals and plush ottomans to leather chairs and uniquely-styled coffee tables, it is the perfect area to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or catch a business meeting or call.
A beautiful stone fireplace will sit in the lobby, acting as a focal point and central social area. Its stones will be white and gray, dramatically stacking to the ceiling. Two sizeable windows spanning ceiling to floor will flank either side of the stone fireplace, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere and the perfect place for an evening glass of wine.
North has a total of four meeting spaces each. They are flexible and can hold a large conference and then flip to hosting a beautiful wedding. The rooms all have windows and doors to the outside, allowing for natural light and nature views. Inspire, create, and discover in a variety of formal and informal venues.
Discover, North’s largest meeting room is 1,936-square-feet and can accommodate up to 150 people. This space also has access to a beautiful outdoor patio area.
Create, located on the second level of the hotel, is a boardroom and is the perfect size for your smaller and more private executive meetings. The room is 600-square-feet and can accommodate 12 people.
Imagine is 500-square-feet and is a flexible space perfect for breakout sessions or smaller banquet events. The room can accommodate up to 50 people.
Inspire is 400-square-feet and boasts of an atmosphere destined for you to influence new meaning and objectives.
An expansive floor to ceiling window and seating options in The Reflection Room offers the perfect spot to lounge, host a breakout, or entertain with a private chef dinner, wine or beer tasting for your group. On the other side of the hall is a more intimate room with fireplace and bookshelves.
The hotel’s modern design is carried through to each of the 60 luxurious accommodations, which feature a king-sized bed or two queen beds. Each room has a sitting area with workspace and an open closet concept.
All rooms have a 49-inch flat television with pairing technology. In addition, a mini fridge, safe, clothing steamer, and Keurig are also in the rooms for guest convenience. The upper-level rooms have a ? patio design. The bathrooms feature walk-in showers with glass providing a seamless transition from the rest of the bathroom into the shower area.
