Minnesota State Putting Championship
Saturday, July 22nd at THE PINES
- 5:00pm Shotgun start
- 2-person best ball
- Great event for all ages – women, men, juniors, seniors!
- Played on all 18 holes of the Lakes and Woods Courses
- Awards Reception at Freddy’s to follow the event with food
- Fee: $40/player
- 9-Holes will be marked as $100 Hole-in-One holes!
- Winning team putts to win a GVL Membership
Member Guest Beach Party
Sunday, July 23rd
- 1:30pm Shotgun – Pines Lakes to Woods
- Team must consist of MEMBER-GUEST ONLY
- 2-person NET best ball tournament
- Must have an activated GHIN handicap to participate in event
- Cost is $175 per 2-person team
- Optional $20 skins game
- Entry fee includes a wonderful beach barbeque buffet on Gull Lake following the event
- Prizes are flighted – 9 teams will walk away as winners!
Par 3 Shootout
Saturday, August 12th
- 4pm shotgun on the newly renovated Woods 9
- Each hole will be converted into a par 3.
- Individual tournament, and the top 10 finishers of the first 9 holes will be placed into a last person standing shootout.
- In the shootout the top 10 finishers will play the course again, but the worst score on each hole will be eliminated, until there is one person left standing.
- Anyone who doesn’t qualify for the top 10 can follow the group around and enjoy complimentary Beverage Cart while the shootout takes place!
- $40 entry fee
- No handicap required
- Top 3 paid out
- Closest to the Pin/Longest Putt Proxy markers on each hole
GVL Club Championship
Sunday, August 13th
- Tee Times starting at 8:00am
- Four divisions: Men (Blue Tees), Women (Red Tees), Senior Men (White Tees 55-64) and Super Senior Men (Gold Tees 65+).
- Playing the newly renovated Lakes and Woods courses
- Women go out first followed by the men’s division, then senior followed by the super seniors
Fish and Golf
Fishing portion: Saturday, September 23rd
Golf: Sunday September 24th
- $150 entry fee per person
- Fishing will be 6 hours, 10:00am Blast off on the GVL Beach on Gull. Weigh-in at 4:00pm
- Dinner and Fishing results at Freddy’s
- Golf at The Pines 9:00am shotgun
- 3 person scramble
- Lunch and Awards at Freddy’s

Saturday & Sunday October 14th & 15th
- Day 1– Preserve, Day 2 – Pines……11:00am Shotgun each day
- 2 Day Tournament (MUST PLAY BOTH DAYS)
- Fee: $160
- Dinner and Awards to follow both events
- Awards given for both NET & GROSS Divisions
- GIANT CASH GROSS SKINS GAME – $60 per team
